«Os 30 Seconds To Mars e os Muse estão nomeados na categoria de Pior Banda dos NME Awards, disputando o prémio com os One Direction, Imagine Dragons, The 1975 e The Wanted. A cerimónia dos prémios da publicação britânica de música realiza-se a 26 de fevereiro na O2 Academy Brixton, em Londres.

Os Arctic Monkeys, banda que reúne maior número de nomeações, vão competir com os Biffy Clyro, os Foals, os Two Door Cinema Club e os novatos Foals e Palma Violets para o prémio de Melhor Banda. Miley Cyrus e Harry Styles (One Direction) estão nomeados na categoria de Vilão do Ano e David Bowie e Lou Reed na de Herói do Ano.

A votação é aberta ao público em 20 categorias, incluindo a de Melhor Festival, Melhor Álbum ou Melhor Banda ao Vivo.»
