«As séries American Horror Story e Guerra dos Tronos foram as mais nomeadas esta quinta-feira para a edição de 2013 dos Emmys, com 17 e 16 nomeações, respectivamente. De fora dos nomeados ficou Diogo Morgado apesar dos elogios da sua interpretação de Jesus Cristo em A Bíblia.

House of Cards, protagonizada por Kevin Spacey, arrecadou nove nomeações, sendo a primeira série distribuída online a ser nomeada para os mais importantes prémios televisivos.

A cerimónia de entrega dos Emmys realiza-se a 22 de Setembro no Nokia Theatre, em Los Angeles, e terá como anfitrião Neil Patrick Harris, da série Foi Assim Que Aconteceu.
