«A Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) divulgou [ontem] a lista dos nomeados ao Globos de Ouro 2014. Nas categorias de cinema, 12 Years A Slave e American Hustle lideram, com sete nomeações cada um. Segue-se Nebraska, com cinco nomeações.

Aqui as maiores omissões foram as de Lee Daniels' The Butler, incluindo Oprah Winfrey, considerada até então como uma presença praticamente certa na categoria de actriz secundária ou Martin Scorsese como realizador. Mas nas surpresas temos Leonardo DiCaprio ou Kate Winslet a serem nomeados ou a presença de Rush como Melhor Filme. Surpresa também nas categorias de comédia ou musical que este ano e ao contrário de edições anteriores, não contêm estranhas entradas.

Em televisão, House of Cards e Behind the Candelabra receberam quatro nomeações cada uma. Uma das mais impressionantes ausências é a omissão por completo de Homeland, assim como dos seus protagonistas, Damian Lewis e Claire Danes. Este ano, Modern Family conseguiu também apenas duas nomeações.

Os vencedores dos Globos de Ouro 2014 serão conhecidos a 12 de Janeiro, numa cerimónia apresentada pela dupla Tina Fey e Amy Poehler.»
